Shared Equity; Any Recommended Companies Etc.?

My girlfriend and I are both Uni graduates with student loans (currently deffered due to income) looking for a shared equity property in nottinghamshire.
Does anyone know of good, reliable organisation/private groups who offer this scheme in our area, we have applied via the East Midland Housing but we could do with a few more as a saftey net.
Any other advice you can throw on shared equity and first time buying would be appritiated, but I have done a bit of reading already and looking at house price:quality in my area and how much we actually have, I think this is our best path.

Hi Diablos - just spotted your post here.
It's not really a mortgage related question, more a general one, so to be honest I think you'd be better off asking this question on the HouseBuying board where questions like this come up all the time.
I can offer some advice about shared ownership (as I live in a SO flat myself) but all the schemes have different features so why not come over to the HouseBuying board and go into a bit more detail?
