A new road,a type of bypass has recently opened near here,as you drive along it, a board at the side of the road lights up your speed when you go past.
The limit is 40 and it says "your speed is 39mph"or whatever ,as you pass it,i have never seen one of these before although i expect others will have.
Whats the point?, will they replace it with a camera in the future, or just leave it as it is ,for guidance?

We have two in my home town, there just to remind people of the speed limit. They seem to be very precise.0

The kids in Newcastle used to have competitions to see how high they could get on the "scoreboard". They've since been limited to only show to a certain speed.0

One of these has just appeared a few days ago on a road not too far from me - must admit I'm tempted to see how high I can get the number above the 30mph limit :whistle: :whistle:Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
