HALC world record carboot attempt.
Options
Help a London Child is here again and this time Capital Radio have teamed up with Loot to try and set a Guiness world record for the biggest carboot sale.
It is being held at my local carboot sale:
Aldenham country park, Elstree Hertfordshire
It will be frome 9am to 2pm on Monday 28th May 2007
They are hoping for 2000 carboot stalls
Capital Radio will be broadcasting live and lots will be going on.
I have pre-registered as a seller and i hope to see some of you there ( i will be the one selling lots of Tesco and Boots stuff)
The details can be found here https://secure.loot.com/halc/index.html
And after its finished you can always make a real day of it and go and explore 100 Acre land where Winnie the Pooh lives.
A great way to get bargains and give to charity and also have a great day out.
You can also pop over to Elstree Aerodrome and look at the small planes and if your hungry after all the action be sure to check out the BattleAxes pub for food.
Although quite expensive the food really is topnotch.
