I speak to people all day when i m meter reading, complaints about the cost of electric bills are common but its very rare that anyone knows that the highest using thing in the house, the electric shower, is 3 to 4 times the the things like kettles, electric ovens , irons. a woman yesterday i spoke to was baffled by her £250 summer electric bill, but she had two daughters spending 40 mins a day each in the shower0
