Just had my original DLA decision overturned after asking for it to be looked at again. Went from Middle Care, Low Mobility to nothing last august, and today found out I got it back, indefinitely (always been fixed term awards going back 20 years now).
Just wanted to give hope to anyone else struggling that if you know you are entitled, don't give up, that's what they want
Now I just need to win my ESA appeal

I wouldn't be so victorious, you can be called back in for a re-examination at anytime despite the 'indefinitely' award.0

I know, but I was expecting to have to go to a tribunal, so avoiding that stress is a big win for me. I was just scraping by by dipping into my savings, (had £5k) but they ran out last month, so the extra money came right at the perfect moment.0

Congrats, and good luck for your ESA appeal. Do you have any help with that? Having CAB or Welfare Rights involved (some charities may offer appeals help too) it can give folks a much better chance of winning or being placed in the correct group.0
