John o groats to lands end car trip

Options
Well, here I am planning a trip in my moggy minor to celebrate my 50 years on this planet. Am aiming to take about 7 days and want to see some of the delights of uk as I travel down. Any advice on places to see, stop at, avoid would be most welcome.

If you're doing it for pleasure and a sight-seeing tour stay off the Motorways.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Just before Inverness leave the A9 and go south on the A82. Far more breathtaking views of the Highlands than the A9.
  • I've gone to J-O-G many times for camping trips and days out, it's simply breathtaking. Enjoy. :)

Yes, I thought the road passing along by the loch would be awesome. :D:D:D
Thanks. Even got my eye on a mighty deals offer for hotel accommodationist Milton house, loch ness. Anyone able to recommend it?

Avoid Lands End. :D It's a crap hole unless you just want to go there for the sign. Lizard Point is far better.

What an offer, and strangely enough the mogGie is parked less than 10 miles from Bridgnorth so I will certainly be travelling through there on my way to the start.

Good to hear a fellow MSE'r in area.

Unfortunately lands end will be unavoidable, if I am to complete the task. But I will schedule in lizards point on your advice. Been to lands end several times, always parked and then walked coastal path to get there. Always amazed at how naff it is.
