The only failure I have ever had was on a floor where I used Unibond simply because my SIL had picked it up. We had to lift the tiles, (not difficult), and clean them up, (even easier), then relay.

Thanks. Fortunately this is a porch which is the least important part of the house, I thought it was a good opportunity to learn tiling. I would never have thought a well known brand would produce poor adhesive.
