  • What a bunch of whingers. If you don't like your remuneration get another job - in the public sector if you think things are so rosy over there. If you can't be bothered to improve your situation then that's your fault. Put up or shut up I say.

you have to be a certain type to work in the public sector though and not everyone can do it. You have to have a "no can do" attitude, be lazy, read the guardian, hate thatcher, moan, love unions and in all respects embrace mediocrity and failure.

it would make me physically ill to be surrounded by these people.

anyway, i never mentioned that i was unhappy with my remuneration, i said i was unhappy at the public sectors unbelievably generous remuneration packages.

I don't know about all that - they do have standards though. I doubt a moron like you would even pass the interview for an admin job. Perhaps that's the real issue here.

Well done for an incredibly stupid small minded post in which you manage to class millions of different workers as one.

Wild generalisations do not make for a logical argument and merely exemplify prejudice.

I've noticed many people in the private sector who also lack a can do attitude. They are often found in banks, insurance companies, shops, help desks, building firms, etc.

Not saying everyone in public sector has a can do attitude but there are many that do working in the armed forces, emergency services, nursing and medicine. Equally there are many who do not, including somethat do very unpleasant jobs that most of us would not even consider doing let alone be enthusiastic about.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.
