I wrote to Santander requesting a refund on my bank charges, which was knocked back, during the time I waited for a reply, I went into branch and requested copies of my bank statements. I was told that they do not hold any of my details as my account was closed in 2007.... if this is the case how have they made a decision not to repay my bank charges if they have nothing to go on??!! HELP

Doesn't sound like you did...:(0 -
Because the bank charges case was lost (by the OFT), the banks won and only exceptional circumstances are accepted now.0
