Help with PDF download

Hi I'm trying to view a PDF download of a bus timetable, it says do you want to open or save timetable -I say open, then a box comes up which is headed view and track your downloads I click on the one that I want which is highlighted but nothing happens.

    Have you tried saving it somewhere first, say to your desktop, then opening from there?

    By selecting Open, the file should download and open in Adobe Reader (or other PDF Viewer) without you doing anything. It sounds to me like the download window is opening, but you are not allowing the download to complete before selecting the file to open.
    How do I add a signature?

    Think that I might have got rid of Adobe reader by mistake can I get it back on the computer witha free download or will I have to pay

    Adobe.com or try foxit reader some say it's better
