I use Avast it is free and IMO works as well or better than any of the paid anti-malware programs http://www.avast.com/
if you have an antivirus already you will need to uninstall it, as it can be detrimental to run 2 at the same time.0 -

Depends on your machine. For free AV read the sticky at the top of the forum.0
