The one that's OOS is larger than the one in the OP's link. The one the same size is still in stock.'Yaze whit yeh hive an ye'll niver wahnt'

Do you remember these from Dragon's Den? http://www.rakastaka.com/visit-our-rakastaka-store.html
Although not quite the same idea, they're probably a little more sturdy than a wire rack?0 -
Ive been looking at these for a long time now but i just cant justify spending the money on them. They have lots of different types on amazon.com but again even if i could afford the shipping they dont ship to Oz or the UK. Some of the reviews Ive read say they they dont always rotate the cans, that they get stuck which also defeats the object for me as i would only want one for the top sleves of my panty so that i could stock them once by standing on a chair and then able to reach them normally whilst there are cans in there.
Hope you find one that suits you.

I've got one very similar to the one in the OP. It came from either Home Bargains or B&M. Can't remember which one, but was only about £2-3. It's only a 2 tier though, but still means you have double the space, so ideal in a small kitchen4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

I'm trying to adapt my house to make life manageable. My RA makes bending and stretching harder and poor old DH is going through the wringer with his chemo.
The zombies will have to take their turn, real life is knocking lumps out of me at the moment
I buy as much stuff as I can in tetrapak, rather than tins, as they are lighter, easier to hold and much, much, easier to open (scissors vs spoon jammed into ringpull vs a tin opener). And they happen to be slightly easier to organise.
They are, unfortunately, nonrecyclable- at least round here - but they make a lot of difference where they are available.
I do sympathise - got RA myself. Circular articles are the very devil, from tins to coins to lids to buttons. LIDS! They're the worst. I've used every gadget known to man, including having one of those on standby in front of the telly, rubber gloves, teatowels, tapping the underside, everything - but the only thing that seems to work reliably is what happens after I've been trying for ages, my hands hurt, I'm hungry and probably got a dose of PMT;
Getting a big pointy kitchen knife and stabbing the lid so the seal opens. (Think Psycho with a jar of gherkins - more so if it's beetroot and I get a bit too enthusiastic)
I believe it's a skill that may come in handy in the event of zombie attack as well
Have you tried searching on beverage/fizzy drink dispenser?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Well, I caved in and have ordered from the USA. P&P was ...OUCH.... but at least I won't get stuck on the floor trying to get cans out of the back of the cupboard, or go dizzy bending and stretching.
Also, it should eventually pay for itself -had to chuck 3 well out of date cans yesterday - if I live till I'm 106.
Thank you for all the useful suggestions, what an enterprising gang hang out on the OS boards :TI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
I have an old bookcase .... in the cupboard under my stairs .....
DH has just spent a happy hour fitting a small book case under the existing shelves in the understair cupboard in the breakfast room.
And I spent a painful hour de-cluttering and rearranging _party_... as well as sneaking things into the recycling or the bin.
Now I can reach everything easily. No room for anything more than was in there already, but at least it is easy to get at now.
Next stop, the small book mountain that used to live on the repurposed shelves :doh:I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
