Marks and Spencer reviews

My daughters new school uses the M and S uniform service, and orders are placed online for delivery or collection. Shortly after purchase M & S asked for a review of my purchase, which i completed stating that the web site could have been more user friendly, that the collection service was great, and that i couldn't comment on product quality as it was still the school hols so item hadn't been worn/washed etc.
Since then i have reviewed a further purchase....in a similar manner
Both of my reviews have been rejected!! So....M & S won't post reviews that aren't full of praise? Doesn't seem particularly ethical to pick and choose your reviews....kind've defeats the object.
Am I wrong?

I have no idea what criteria M&S use as I've had 2 reviews rejected. One of them was a really good review for a bra but I'd used the word b00bs! Not sure how else to review a bra without referring to one's 'frontage'!
The other was a very good review for a dress but it was rejected and of course you can't go back and look at the review as it disappears if it isn't published.
I've read some terrible one star reviews that really criticise stuff but they get through.0 -
How strange. I tried to look at the T & C's but was so long, I couldn't find the ones relating to reviews. As it happens if they asked for the reviews now, they would have been very positive lol.0

You need to think laterally - think seaside holiday saucy postcard or 1970's sitcoms for permissible euphamisms.0 -

That's where you went wrong. You're only supposed to review the product - not the service, or the website etc.0 -

I agree, I have left some pretty terrible reviews on the M and S website, but they have all been about the product. All of them were published. I have left good reviews too0 -

So this thread is pointless.0 -

A bit like your post ...

At least other people may have taken note that M&S reviews are only accepted if you keep to reviewing the product.
Actually, from what I remember, I think it states this on the page where the user writes the review.0 -
Whatever the ins and out of accepting a review, it is appallingly bad manners to just reject it without informing the reviewer that is has been rejected and why. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0
