My current job has slowed down so I have been asked to go part time.
Looking at this positively though as we have just had a baby in august so il be arround a couple more days to help and iv took the decision to go back to college and retrain.

I have updated child benefit, tax credits and I have partly filled in a housing benefit claim form. My main question is it asks for 5 wage slips, do I have to wait five weeks till I can submit it?

Also I was slightly concerned by the woman on the phone at the tax credit office. She worked out my monthly wage by multiplying 4 instead of 52 and dividing by 12. Is this going to cause me a problem?

  • You can send in the wage slips weekly, my LA are fine with that.

Tax credits are paid 4 weekly so maybe that is why they multiplied your wage by 4.
