Advice needed for options on decorating OSB boards

I've had an outhouse contructed in my garden for use as a playroom. The interior walls, ceiling and floor are OSB and the overall dimensions are 6M wide, 2.8M high and 3M depth, so a fair sized space.
My intention was to paper the walls and ceiling (carpet the floor) and then emulsion finish with some coving and skirting boards. I've hung some lining paper directly onto the raw OSB and needless to say it isn't staying up. Doh! At least I hadn't painted it....
So I figure my options are to seal the OSB then rehang the lining paper OR put up plasterboard sheets and hang lining paper over that (or perhaps emulsion directly ontto the plasterboard?). The OSB is the regular grade as opposed to the nice sanded veresion I've read about. Therefore, there are the expected chips and bumps but I reckon I can live with some of those being visible through the lining paper.
Can anyone advise on the best approach for these options (e.g which primer/sealant for the OSB/plasterboard and advice on the number of coats). Please also feel free to suggest alternative options. I considered gloss painting the OSB in two or three vibrant contrasting colours to give it a quirkly feel which the kids might enjoy, or even varnishing the OSB. Both of these feel expensive (a lot of paint/varnish) and at heart I probably want a more conventional finish.
Thanks for taking the time to read and for any advice you can offer.

Never tried it in an outbuilding but I don't think that any form of wallpaper would stick for a long period.
Maybe pinning some hardboard on the walls and painting that would give a decent finish?
Having last week paid £55 for a tub of emulsion I would be doing some calcs before setting to with painting.Forgotten but not gone.0 -
If you are determined to paper the OSB then a coat of primer will give you a better substrate for the paper to adhere to. It's worth noting that you should keep the OSB out of contact with the floor, it should be cut just short and filled in with a skirting or it's going to swell if there is any water ingress.0

Hi all, I should have added that the building is secure from water ingress. The interior OSB (walls and ceiling) are 18mm onto timbers, with a four inch rockwool filled cavity before more 18mm OSB on the exterior clad with pressure treated shiplap. The roof is torch on felt and the overall construction is solid.
@T_T - is there any specific primer you would recommend for OSB?

We have just painted a tackroom (OSB) with vinyl matt emulsion (on orders from SWMBO) and it is a lot better than I ever thought it would be.0

Any multi-purpose oil based primers from the likes of Zinsser, Gliddens, Dulux etc.0
