Trying to work out how much JSA I'll get

I made a claim on the 21st August, had first sign on 30th, then again yesterday 13th Sept got a text saying it's been awarded am I right in thinking the first 3 days are holding days so will get money from 24th August so I should get 20 days payment early next week?

Hi, yes the first 3 days of a JSA claim are called 'waiting days' and are not payable.0
