Deals from the dark side

Totally OT but I am watching 'deals from the Dark side' that I have recorded from Sky.
It has made me think that I really must go back to selling on eBay.com, those Americans will buy *anything* There Is only one buyer but as long as you give him a back story he will buy anything.
US made deck chair with no water damage and no white star mark sold as a Titanic deckchair- yep $40 K for that ? Houdini handcuffs with no,provenance at all, yep thousands of dollars for them as they are 99.9 % likely to be real.
He also uses a medium to tell feel things for him- it's hilarious. Quick go get all your old junk listed but remember to 'up' the story on it. Not just an old cup and saucer, but surely one that Queen Victoria drank out of (don't worry if they date from a period after her death, he will still believe you)

My stepdad's grandad was a sailor on one of the Titanic's sister ships, the Olympic, and when he left he took his bed with him (yes really). It's got the White Star Line markings on it and everything. We still have it at home and I've been telling the parents for years that they need to get it on ebay - maybe we should say it was Jack's bunk and make some real money ...0

I think you may well have something valuable there as White Star items do still go very well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. One 'enterprising acquaintance' of mine discovered a German camera with some handwriting inside and passed it off as "Field Marshall Rommel's camera".
He only did it for his own amusement, but even after admitting it was simply a laugh, he found some people preferred to believe it really was a famous wartime German General's camera!"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
...If you can fake that, you've got it made."

In reverse! I once found a source for buying Xbox live codes on Ebay.com it was £7 for a 100 codes. I bought them and sold them on Ebay.co.uk for £32. I kept on doing this until I had just over £6000 profit in less than 6 months. The codes I bought on Ebay.com didnt show on Ebay.co.uk
Easiest money I ever made all I did was sit down 3 times a day and mail people their codes on Ebay. Of course all code buyers want them right now! cus they are dying to play COD or whatever. Ebay then got all assey on code sellers with the non physical item rules. Luckily I had virtually exhausted the stock anyway. 0
