But you are pointing the blame in the wrong direction. If you don't want to pay the high prices and extortionate tax then don't use it ... best money saving advice you will ever get. :cool:

Very easy to say, but all transport relies on fuel and so ALL transport pays the taxes. Your bus fare, taxi fare, haulage costs, train fare is based on the fact that they pay the tax too. Public transport would be cheaper and more widely used if they could get tax free fuel. I would gladly use the train if I did'nt have to take a out a mortgage to buy a ticket.
