iPhone 5 through financing (Barclays)

It's not a better clock... the post said that the new iPhone 'resets the clock' for screen size and speed, as in it beats any other phone hands down...
Whatever it is it's still not worth the upgrade from the 4s and many have said wait for the 5s concept which apparantly is meant to come with little hands that makes you cups of tea and also make you lunch with a touch of a button and comes with an extending rabbit vibrator.0 -
Trying to stay away from the phone debate, I've had an iPhone and hated it, currently have a BB which I really like. I doubt the early payment will save you interest. Settlement figures seem to be thing of the past these days, the chances are your interest is fixed and paying early won't reduce that. I think all that will happen is that you will reduce your payment period.
If you want to make the best of the situation and get a few pence back then save the £300 and wait until your outstanding loan amount is £300 then pay it off. The interest gained on the £300 saved you could consider as a saving on the interest paid on the loan?0 -
£600 for a bit of a mobile phone. The world truly is mad.“In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing at all.” - Roosevelt0

I paid £600 for a mobile phone this morning, and I can guarantee that I won't regret it for a single second!:j0

If that is pay as you as well your phone will cost more then running a car.0 -
BugsyBrowne wrote: »Should of waited for the iPhone 6 concept next year as at the moment they are telling 4s owners to wait and not to upgrade to the 5 as the difference is minimal and not worth the upgrade.
Chances are it'll be an iPhone 5S rather than a 6 so it'll be minimal changes again.

Nothing wrong with what the OP is doing here. I have done the same and it's worked out really well although I am sticking with my iPhone 4S this time0

My current iphone has lasted me for three years and I'll probably still get around £100 when it sell it second hand.
Some people buy expensive clothes and shoes, though they could buy much cheaper alternatives. Others go on expensive holidays, though they could go to much cheaper destinations... (and so on...). I buy an expensive phone every few years rather than the much cheaper alternatives. I'm excited about it, I can afford it, and frankly, I feel that I deserve it!:T
I've never understood why people rush to pour cold water over other people's spending.
That's fair enough it's like me I would rather spend money in fully inclusive accommodation in the Med rather then a rainy butlins or pontins full of push chairs.0 -
