Drawer fridges

We are currently in the process of redesigning a new kitchen, and are considering having two refridgerator drawers in the kitchen, with an upright fridge freezer in an adjoining walk in pantry. However I don't know anyone who has this style of fridge and don't know anything about the pros and cons.
Anyone here with a fridge like this? What are your thoughts about how it works? All thoughts both for and against would be very welcome.

Just a few thoughts.
When you say two drawers; would they be large enough to store milk cartons in? That is the main thing we go in/out of the fridge for during the day.
Maybe you could monitor your fridge usage over the next week or so, how often you go in it, what for and see if it would work for you. How far is the pantry? Could you have the fridge in the kitchen but the freezer in the pantry?Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

The height of the fridge freezer is the issue in terms of aesthetics. The pantry is walk in off the kitchen so only a few steps from the cooking area. Two drawers would have greater capacity than an under counter fridge but just wondering how they measure up practically. Each drawer looks deep enough for a carton of milk but they would obviously need to be wedged to stay upright I think0

Drawer fridges are a great idea in principle. However they are all made by Fisher Paykel (and rebadged as Whirlpool, Hotpoint etc) and have historically suffered from reliability and build quality issues. As a kitchen retailer, we have steered clear of these units for the same reasons.
Recently, Liebherr have launched a drawer fridge with a single pullout front. No reports on reliability as yet, but given that Liebherr are generally acknowledged as the best refrigeration appliances in the world, I would expect these to be pretty good. We’ve had to remove your signature.
