New Fridge Freezer
GotNo£
Good morning.
Am after buying a new Fridge Freezer very soon so am looking for recommendations. Looking at the cheaper end of the market (budget is only £200 including any delivery charges).
It needs to be bigger than the standard under the counter ones - as one problem with the current one is that it's always been too small - you know, one packet of frozen chips and the freezer section is almost full.
Ideally it wouldn't be too tall (but if there are no fridge freezers in between standard counter size and massive upright ones, then the bigger one would have to do).
Also prefer the fridge part on top if possible - as someone with "less mobility" will be using it - they generally don't want to be getting down on their hands and knees to get to the salad tray.
No access to a car so would have to get it delivered, so have to factor this cost into the price.
Does anyone know if any companies that would deliver a new fridge would take the old one away? As this would be a good selling point.
So any suggestions and also where to buy. Better on-line if possible.
Thanks very much and enjoy the weekend folks.

Almost any retailer will remove the old appliance, but a charge is made, as they have to pay an environmental charge to dispose of it . Or your LA may offer a disposal service. It's never free (or if it is, it's hidden in the price). No free lunch, and no free laptop

My local council will do one collection of 3 large items every 12 months for free and they include kitchen appliances- we used it to remove our old oven and FF
This FF http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk/product/T5039W-Lec-Fridge-Freezer-White-21144.aspx from appliances online is only just over your budget (£207) and is small and has the fridge on top. They also do free delivery. I don't know what it's like, but it seems to have good reviews.0 -
Thinking about going for that one (above) - [though I'm slightly concerned that the video review doesn't work and that this model can't be found amongst their many reviews on Youtube]...............unless anyone else has another suggestion.0
