18185 - No connection today?

I use 18185 (from a cable phone line) during the day, usually with no problem, but I've been unable to get a connection through them since 9am this morning. Is anyone else having problems?

Number used is 08081703703

    The 18185 prefix from a BT line is working fine.

    However, 08081703703 isn't (just tested it).

    EDIT 11:51 BST - 08081703703 working fine here now.
    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    Thanks Heinz didn't know if this was a universal fault, or something wrong with my phone line. I'll wait until later today and try again.

    Got through at 12 noon when I tried, although cost of call on voice message doesn't tie up with advertised prices. This happens quite often and cost varies (usually in my favour eg today's 0845 call advertised at 3p per minute was charged by voice message and on itemized statement when I checked at 0.5p per minute). Statement also showed all the previous connection attempts I had made earlier today had reached 18185, but gone no further (not charged), so I must have been getting through to somewhere.

    I called the London number in the middle of the day from my mobile - silence for about 40 seconds, and then the announcement
