AirTricity to Chop Prices in October

Hi, Folks,

I seen that PowerNI (ESB) were reducing their prices by 14% which would technically make it cheaper than AirTricity.

So I emailed AirTricity for a reaction.

Thank you for your email.

If you are an Airtricity customer on our introductory discounts (2 Year or 1 Year) you will see a 14.1% decrease on your electricity unit rates from 1st October 2012. You will also continue to save thanks to Airtricity’s guaranteed discounts off Power NI standard unit rates based on your chosen product (up to the point that your introductory discounts expire), payment method and bill type.

I have just noticed from October that PowerNI will be cheaper than AirTricity. And I will be probably switching back if AirTricity cannot provide me with any discounts to stay as a customer? Does AirTricity have plans to Undercut PowerNI?
