Hi we are looking for a girls weekend away. I am a little under the weather so nothing too strenuous maybe within 1 hour flight of heathrow.

1 hour? That's very limiting. Manchester? Paris, Dubin or Brussels possibly. You might be better looking at taking a train somewhere or upping your flying time to say 2/3 hous to make it worth while.

Little bit longer flight, but krakow is a lovely city, easy to get to it from the airport, straight on the train and your there.

Nice city centre, good shopping and just lovely.

You would get to Amsterdam in that flight time. If you could stomach something a bit longer Barcelona is about 1.5 hours as is Prague.

I was also going to suggest Amsterdam, easy to get around, good for shopping, museums and generally mooching about. Good weather not guaranteed though!

Eindhoven is quite a nice place for a weekend. I don't know what dates you're going but you can get there and back for not very much (e.g. http://soc.li/wWvN20e) Does mean taking either a train, national express or easyBus to stansted though. Or paying roughly double to fly from london city.
