If your website is in a niche which people pay a lot to advertise in, it's possible to make £10-20 a day quite easily from Adsense. If however the niche isn't desirable, you'll obviously make a lot less.
If you have a good niche you'll make money. Im doing anywhere from £12-£20 a day and my traffic isnt amazing.0 -

The key to good earnings is not so much about the amount of traffic, but how targeted your traffic is. If someone found your site by typing in say "Product Reviews" to Google then this in itself would be ok, but it would be normally just a curious visit, were as if someone is looking for a specific item and types that phrase in to Google then, that's potentially someone with a debit card in their hand ready to buy something.
Never underestimate the power of targeted traffic and how powerful it is in dominating page one of big G for a selection of keyword phrases.Lao Tzu - "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime"

well i have added adsense to my website and its doing ok, on estimated earnings, but whats the likely difference between estimated earnings and actual earnings, also i am thinking of adding a forum to my website do you think this might help0

It might help get some more traffic and make your website more sticky, but if you put adsense on the forum, expect your overall average CTR (click though rate) to drop, as ads on forums have much lower CTRs than other websites.0

I have several websites, my busiest site (not very busy) has around 200 UVs per day but makes far less than one of the quieter sites with that number every month.
The data relating to these kind of things needs to be distrusted.
I researched a very good targeted keyword and built a site that now ranks #1 for the term. According to Google Keywords there's about 1,300 monthly searching that term, yet I get only 2-3 hits per day, I'd expect about ten times that amount as the site ranks #1
So, there is money to be made but it's not easy!Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080 -
Interesting idea, if I understand right this is how it works:
1. Research keywords, ideally with little competition that have good domains available still.
2. See how much people are paying Ad Words to place ads using those key words, pick ones where they are paying a lot.
3. Build sites with those keywords with related content and Google Ads on them.
Is that it?
I suppose the trick is getting highly ranked for keywords that people are prepared to pay a decent amount for. What kind of numbers would be considered worthwhile?Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080 -
Researching adword keywords prices is a waste of time - they have no bearing on adsense payout rates. If you focus your website around a high paying keywords, what happens when advertisers move away from those ? You have a worthless website that's only likely to attract very low bids. The important things to have is a highly focused site, full of high quality content that people want to read. Good search engine optimisation.Comply with all of googles policies, once you're banned from adsense it's for life. You can get thousands of visitors a day from spamming social networking sites, this traffic is consiidered poor quality. It is not likely to attract high paying adverts.0

Can someone explain the difference between Adsense and Adwords?
We had Adsense on our site for maybe about a year or so, made an average of about £3 a week, but then they removed it over suspicion of dodgy activity - we protested, but failed.
Now using Amazon after reading about it here, but so far made £0 in the last month that we've had it. Pick our own products to display which are in context with the articles on there.
Everything is entirely written by us, so all unique, with anything between 300-900 hits a day depending on our social networking activity.
If Adsense have decided we can't use them anymore, can we use Adwords and what's the difference?
To be honest, the Amazon ads are better because they're relevant, but nobody is clicking, let alone buying!0 -

Adwords is where you are advertising. (Tescos)
Adsense is those displaying purchased Adwords. (ITV showing Tescos advert)0
