Finding previous registered keepers

On the logbook is gives details of whom the previous registered keeper was (usually the person you bought the vehicle off).. But is it possible to find out who owned the vehicle before that person?

    Yes, but with data protection issues they will ask the reason for your request.

    Requests that they consider valid are that you are a prospective purchaser or new owner and want to learn the past history of the vehicle.
