I am suffering from the ‘one too many hopelessly coded questionnaires’ syndrome.

To the best of my knowledge you can't get cashback on upgrades only new contracts. To be honest I did the PAYG a few months back all online and for about 7x burger thought it was Ok. Probably would have done the upgrade if I wanted the new iphone yet.

true, but you can also often get better deals from the network retentions team than a store can offer, when you say you want to leave...

They open them up to folk who are not on the phone panel, but us mere mortals are not allowed to self assign. I think they allocate when they are desperate and when the chosen ones show no interest in the remaining ones.
