The second - "Can I have a receipt, please?" - is likely to get them lighting the kindling under the wicker man.

GR have recently changed the scenario for the small slapped bum Supermarkets. I have to make a small purchase at the Kiosk till, Manned Till, Self Service till and ask a question at Customer services. They are not big stores and when not busy they know exactly who you are. How many shoppers would visit every single till within 15 minutes???

In the one I did most recently, the kiosk was the only manned till and was also the customer services desk. I just made one purchase and asked my customer service question at the same time, filled in the form with an explanation of what I did and have been paid without query.

I did some last month by request from one of the companies I do most work for. I felt terrible when the staff did lots of work and all the correct follow-ups and then I had to tell them I was no longer interested -- I don't mind it when I'm doing that to staff from the company who are paying for the research, but not when it's their direct competitors. I hated it and won't do it again.

Anyone got a phone number for TNS? Have done 4 premium car shops for them, they want extra blood without paying, which will take me all afternoon, which I think is not fair....

I find the perfectly good, decent rates, easy senarios, I do the job, they pay on time. I've done 7 of these car shops this month with no issues, what extra do they want?
