Looking at some jobs on Gyp- cannot believe how badly written the briefs are. I'd take the work, but I can't make sense of what is actually required. It seems that the same scenario has been written out 3 times, no use of paragraphs and I cannot work out what the reimbursement is for, as it doesn't actually state what you have to purchase. C'mon- basic English people! OK- rant over.

So glad I've literally dropped MF. Only done 2 shops with them this month. They may have been my introduction to MS, but their fees are disgraceful.

Like all companies you need to get past the introduction and get trusted to be offered batter paid jobs, personally they are my only source of work now they supply that many quality/well paying jobs.

They do have a lot of jobs on offer, but very few where I live. I only pick up their bookie jobs now.

I've got to admit, I will be doing an MF job on Friday. Free food whilst working away :)

I've re-evaluated how I'm doing GFK now and factoring in an hour per project for training, then seeing if it's cost effective.

DS automotive project, visits took about two-three hours, and paid accordingly. Learning the brief took me 25 minutes.

GFK email enquiry, "visits" take ten minutes, and pay acordingly. Learning the brief, I gave up after 20 minutes.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

I've just done 3 of their e-mail 'visits'. Almost the same brief and questionnaire for each one. Actual assignment took about 5 minutes each. Never done them before but weren't too bad, once you get past the brief

I've got no problem with the GFK email assignments. I don't know which ones you're looking at, but mine took minutes and you don't need to read all of that bumpf, learn to skim read and pick out what's needed! It's a skill that's worth having in many walks of life- namely how you get through uni, reading lists look horrendous, but they're not if you know what you need to read!
