Has anyone been struggling to get the alerts email lately? I get the convo thread one but not the alerts thread, done the subscribe/unsubscribe thing but no joy...

Yes, here is what fixed it for me...

Unubscribe from the thread and log out of the site.
Clear your cookies and history.
Log back into the site and re-subscribe.

While we are on about alerts, we really do appreciate anyone who steps up and makes a post, it keeps us one step ahead of everyone else, but can you just check that the same thing hasn't been alerted. It cuts down on a little bit of needless email that way.

Seeing the name Assosia typed on here should not bother any company that has a website under that name outlining the work it does. It is a perfectly valid response to questions from posters seeking information on the type of assignments offered by Assosia to suggest them as a point of contact.

Where I understand a company objecting and rightly so IMO is with specific assignments being discussed and again IMO that has occured on here the last few days and I have chosen not to contribute to those discussions. Neither have I acted like a self appointed censor. This is a moderated board and I leave that to the people whose job it is. I don't know why one particular post was labelled !!!!!! stirring when there are numerous posts talking about that particular assignment and making it obvious what the assignment concerned.

All opinions should be welcome, that should go without saying but my observation is that there is an element on here now who contribute very little to the general discussions that take place and just waft in and out to lecture and condescend or hit the thanks button on posts of those that do.
