Its been confirmed they have no baring

different profiles can affect what jobs you see and when as can gender etc

I have two accounts. one I use all the time with 2400 points, one I used briefly when they were having some server issues with 30 points, the only difference between them is a slightly different name and the points.

When the chicken jobs went on last week I couldn't see them with the account I use all the time but could with the other one.

I see more assignments that someone on a third of the points I have. My other half is on 200 and I have over 2000 and he doesn't always see the same as I do and when he does they usually come on a day or 2 later.

You can only see more than him because you are L'Oreal, because you are worth it! ;)

Out of interest, does anyone know what postcodes or areas are near Kings Cross, as in walking distance? One shall be there for about an hour or two twice this week and one wants to pick some work up. One has tried looking at Google maps and such like but it does not really make much sense to one! Doh. Any Londoners about? PM me, many thanks in advance :D

You've got WC1 to the south, N1 and NW1 to the North, I used to work and live round there, you've got stations and a few supermarkets.

Yeah, shame the station visits aren't around this week. [STRIKE]What about TNS quick supermarkets?[/STRIKE] Just checked and there are none. TBH, visits in London are a bit thin on the ground over the next few weeks. I have absolutely nothing in my diary :( I'm sure you could use some of that mimi magic and sweet talk someone into giving you a few jobs :D

[STRIKE]Has anyone noticed the payments a bit weird for React's ice cream visits. I have one that has been accepted where the fee showing is now two thirds of what it should be? I did a second visit tonight and the real fee is still showing. I'll wait and see what happens with tonight's visit before I query it with them. Just wondered if it happened to any of you?[/STRIKE]

Doh, I was looking at last year's visit!

I've only done 1 of these visits and the fee remained the same, although my expenditure understandably dropped as I didn't spend the maximum allowed.
  • Hi everybody, I've been mystery shopping nearly 3 months now, just smaller jobs for gap and MF. As my confidence is increasing and I have got my head around self employment and tax purposes I am ready to take on a bit more and have been accepted on to a few other companies.

Anyone who has done jobs for react, how long does does it take to get expenses back, I am considering a couple of high end trainer assignments but there is a large initial spend and can't go a couple months until paid back. Also on these high end jobs are you ever given the option to keep the product, maybe for reduced costs? I am actually in the market for this product anyway and would consider keeping them but prob couldn't afford full price

Thanks BIGGRAEME and SIOUXSIE32. I will keep checking those areas and hopefully something will come up soon.

REACT normally take a month to pay, sometimes even 2 months like I recently found out.

The brief for the trainer shop says "you can keep the item if you wish, but it will be at your own cost". So I guess that would answer your question. Keep your eyes peeled as the said trainer shop normally has a promotion on now and then where any second purchase in a year is a maximum of £25, they give out a voucher. I did this a year ago as I needed some new running trainers.

I know REACT do lingerie visits where they give you a certain amount if you decide to keep the item and not refund it.
  • I'll give that one a miss this time then, thanks

Well thats me and gapbust officially split up - they begged me to do a drive through as i refused a walk in due to ridiculous questions about my appearance & timings. So when i webexpressed the paperwork was for a walk in however the rest of it said drive through. Theyve eventually phoned me after i emailed them 5 times & are refusing to pay. To add insult to injury they have woken me & my baby up when I told them it is ridiculous they have hung up. Im so angry as thats £*.** they wasted me yesterday & my partner had to finish work early. The company is an absolute joke - rant over
