I have a GfK bank client account which has recently been upgraded into a student account. I want to open another current account so that I am still able to do the assignments. Since there is no record of my online application (my one for a student credit card also went AWOL!), I have an appointment at my new local branch tomorrow to try and get one opened. Any good ideas what reasons I could have for wanting another account? I thought about saying I wanted one account for my wages and another for my student loan, but was quite bluntly informed by the woman at the enquiry desk that I need to have regular payments - not just my student loan - if I want an overdraft. Not that I'd said anything about wanting/needing one, but there you go...0

Does it specifically say you can't do them with the student account? I do a bank for GFK and the instructions say not to MENTION that it is a student account to the cashier. Obviously they may have other banks though...
But sorry, to answer your question, I would say it was to help budgeting so I could transfer a set "allowance" into my account each week and make sure I didn't spend all my bills money.Sealed Pot Challenge #239

Interesting! I asked TNS why these visits only show when I untick the box that shows only eligible visits, as I did some around 7 or so months ago. They told me the project had been put on hold. I knew at the time they were fobbing me off  Any ideas why I wouldn't be eligible to do them?
Usually age or lifestyle, they are usually looking for 25-30 year olds with lots of spending power.0 -

Hmm, you're quite right - just located an old brief in my downloads folder and it does indeed say not to say you have a student account, not that you cannot have or use one at all for the assignment. The line above says you must have a current a/c, savings a/c or credit card to make a transaction - surely a student a/c would be acceptable, as I can pay into it?
Also, thanks for the tip, that sounds very sensible and realisticWondering if I will need the appointment now, if I can just use the student a/c without saying anything, then that's fine with me. Annoyingly enough, just had Meena on the phone regarding another job and it totally slipped my mind to ask her!

Oooh lovely. Hope you have loads of fun and catch shed loads of sunshine.
Does anyone work for BLUE APPLE? Had an email on Monday about a terribly swanky Thai restaurant which I replied to and said I would do, and never heard a thing off her again? I know they once offered me a frozen food shop and did the same, i.e. never replied to me. Is this normal for them?0
