    GR pending for Monday.

Brand spanking new shopping centre opened up in Leeds yesterday. I've seen about 5 new shops which get mystery visited which were not in Leeds before. Woohoo!

PS. Have a look on ESA as they are now desperate to get some of their last work done and the fees have gone up dramatically. I'm sure you could squeeze some mileage out of them too.

Has anybody been 'identified' by Gyp? did you confirm what you looked like or whether the reg was correct... I can sense an argument and a dear john email...

Yes, on two occasions, after I gave negative feedback about a burger restaurant. But i'm still working for them...

Yes, correct description and car reg. It was after marking them down for not providing a certain item that they should have. They wanted to check that I had given the staff the opportunity to provide it before I asked. I stuck to my guns and was paid and continue to work for them. This was about 2 years ago. It was not a place local to me though so I wasn't that bothered. As it happend I can still shop that location. I have marked down my local places too without any comeback.

As a general observation and not directed at Superliss I really don't think they are as bad as the perception that exisits about them. As long you can justify your comments and they are constructive they do accept negative feedback.

They are not just interested in comments saying X was bad, they want to know how X being bad impacted on you as a customer so their staff can understand why doing X is important. I know some of this is a bit pollyanna "how did you feel" stuff but that is the philosophy of the company so I just go along with it.

I generally don't have a problem with Gyp they provide a good chunk of my MS income, I just worry when they want to identify me and my car as I worry that this will affect my income!

timing was long, it was lunchtime and it's a real busy location.

Your right its all about measurables rather than opinion so to speak.

I replied to the email regarding the timings and gave them AGAIN. but I didn't comfirm what I look like. Think it's time to start using the OH car for those visits.... and wearing a fake tache.
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man: no time to talk
  • I've been asked to ID myself 3 times by Gyp - the first time it was obviously me, I confirmed it and was barred from that specific location for what I don't recall being a particularly long time. The next 2 times the description didn't match, I said so, and that was that. No 'Dear John' letter as yet...

Has anyone else been getting a little receipt for the click and collect jobs? I certainly haven't. What a waste of time, petrol and effort those were then. And the children have now opened the items. Think I need cake.

Having done quite a few Gyp assignments, since starting MS, I've never had any problems but, oddly enough, the timings for my last 2 visits have been questioned. Once by phone call and once by an e-mail. I have no concerns that my timings are spot on and I told them so; didn't hear anything further from them.

Like Superliss, Gyp make up a considerable chunk of my MS income and I wouldn't want to lose them.

Same here too - jobs from last week have a request to enquire about the timings given already. I responded by supplying exactly the same timings, with a note saying I also checked the video timecode from my car's security cam and the times were correct.

    Never heard another peep.

I had a receipt I think. Or at least I submitted three different attachments and its gone through to ok for pay. Only thing is that the amount is only the fee and not the amount for the item as well...

My issue is that EVERY time there is a bad or slightly bad report the burger place concerned is calling the mystery shopper out to discredit the report, it's immature and they need to grow up! This is what you get for employing kids who want their bonus's
