I've just got one too...needed just that little bit more description of the MOS (at least they didn't have facial hair)0 -
Yeah, I've had one today, although to be fair it was my error.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

No not just you, I've had -
Proofreader: Can you check you visited the right location
Me: That is what the photo and the left and right questions are for...
Query: You said there were two staff on duty
Question: How many staff were visible.
Proofreader: You say the member of staff wasn't wearing a name badge
Query: What was the member of staff's name.
And this "were the members of staff enjoying their jobs" question is being a pain today, how the hell do I know? They could be outwardly cheerful but they could be a seething pot of resentment and hatred towards stupid bookies who ask daft questions...
I've had a stressful day, can you tell0 -
It's actually less closely. A self employed person on UC can just declare the amount of the threshold every month and it will not be looked at any more closely than now. If they declared they earnt under the threshold the claim will still not be looked at any more closely but the claimant would be subject to conditionality which is basically asking the claimant to look for more work like someone who is unemployed or look at ways to increase profit above the monthly threshold.
...or you could get off your backside an do more work and cost the state less, just sayin'0 -

I had one too, asking me about when I'd been acknowledged in the bookies, even though I'd made it clear what had happened and when. Weirdly, I didn't get any points deducted - not sure if that means they realised how daft the query was, or my reputation for having a moan about points in the past precedes me!0 -

That last question really is ridiculous...maybe we should just ask them?Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

You appear to have the system sussed before it's even been implemented. Maybe rather than spending you time 'workin the system' just spend your time 'working'.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
!!!!!!, after over a year without making a single mistake serious enough to lose a payment, in one day I've forgotten to ask for a receipt in a pharmacy, failed to ask if there's a toilet in a petrol station, and visited entirely the wrong department in a furniture shop.
May cry.
Or just go to bed and start again tomorrow.
(P.S., for what it's worth; I count reimbursement only jobs as income and only take off petrol, printing, parking etc to calculate profit. This is how I was advised to do it during the HMRC courses I went on, and I also received working tax credits last year without anyone querying this. But then, I only do petrol/supermarket type reimbursement jobs where the required spend is something I would have bought anyway, not hotels and the likes.)0 -
