                    hi
i received a letter from lloyds tsb regarding ppi claim saying they needed a further 8 weeks this was back in july to look into my claim , prior to this i had a letter saying it was going to take 4 weeks, its nearly at the 8 weeks and i have heard nothing should i contact them and also has or is anyone else having same issues with them delaying the ppi claim.
12 weeks and no further forward !! is this the norm
cheers sharon

If they are keeping you informed of delays there is little to be done other than wait patiently. After the first eight weeks you have the right to refer your case to the Ombudsman, but this will currently take a year or more.
Probably best to wait for the bank!0 -
You could give them a ring, my last claim with LLoyds took longer than the previous ones simply because of the quantity of claims they are getting at the moment. I also had issues with letters not getting to me. I actually received the refund to my bank the day before I received a decision letter!0

My husband had this, but he called them end of last week and was advised that his complaint had been upheld and was due into his bank on Monday - low and behold it was paid on Monday!! I would give them a call...0
