USA Cashier's Cheque (Check)

I occasionally get cheques from my mom in the USA, and I bank with Barclays. Basically the cheque is sent for "negotiation", then I get the money in 5 to 7 days. The fee is reasonable.0

I think you will find this is negotiation WITH RECOURSE.
If the cheque bounces they take the money back.
No way is a foreign cheque ''cleared'' in 4 days.0
