Having missed the boat on the great DELL deals earlier this month, I'm looking at the scratched/dented systems sol by DELL on Ebay.
Has anyone used this service? They mainly seems to be the 1501 model.
There seem to be some good prices to be had, at any rate.

I haven't personally but one of my friends have.
Make sure you find out how badly scratched the item is first!
They tend to deal with the reconditioned ones. The link I posted is usually new items - where their order was canceled after the laptop was built.0 -
Right, thanks, I'll look there too0

What kind of prices are we looking at? I can't see ebay at work.Matched Betting and Casino Bagging Target: £3500 (Masters degree course fees)
Matched Betting and Casino Bagging Profit (started 17/01/07): £499.180 -
The refurbed 1501s are going for £245 upwards, depending on spec0

Or check out https://www.dmxdimension.co.uk and keep an eye out for offers.
The cheapest 1501s are usually semprons which are dead slow. Aim for a Turion at least.0
