It's unlikely they are specifically targetting that family.
It will be part of the preparation for the localisation of council tax benefit.
Each council is expected to find 20% of savings.
They will do this partially by changing who is eligible for council tax benefit, as well as rereading the rules to see if there is any less favourable view they can take on them.0 -
