Good morning! I need to buy some petrol as the little thirsty light is on. And, I was hoping to use my Lloyds account to pay for it. However, having checked my internet banking today they have charged me £30 for an overdraft excess fee. I wrote to them about this charge when they informed my they were going to do it, so I wrote and complained, they then wrote back and said they were not going to charge me, but have done so today. This has put me £4.00 in the red.

Not a problem (I thought!), so I rang them, armed with the letter to say, "hold on, you said you're not charging me, what's this!?"

Spoke to a nice lady there, who informed me that I was £700+ OD. But I don't have an overdraft on my account and how can that happen. She then explained that I had a account debit of £1175.00 on the 30th March, I said, that should be a credit for that amount as that's my wages going in.

Hmmmm, we both said, she put me on hold. Then returned explaining that Lloyds computer system is up the swanny and all debit are showing as credits and vice versa! How scary!

I now have to wait for a while, whilst they rectify the problem and sort my and others accounts out. So if anyone has a Llyods TSB account, check it on the internet banking today.

Getting back to the point of the thread, unless my banking is sorted today and I can buy some petrol I'll be walking home, but at least it'll be a NSD for me :D
    October make £10/day currently £11.02

Oh dear Avogirly - that's not good! How strange, but I hope Lloyds get it sorted quickly!

Morning all, hope all is well,

Hoping for another NSD today. I have just found out that I can get overtime at my parttime job over the holiday so that should keep me away from spending and actually bring ina some more.

    Onwards on upwards!

A NSD for me today, and I was pretty proud of myself when I resisted a very tasty latte!

Also had some good news that instead of 2-3 days I might be working 3-4 days for a couple of weeks since some people are on holiday, so yay!
