Easter Eggs

  • I always buy thorntons eggs for the kids I buy for...with their name iced onto it for free...

This year they are £1.99 for the smaller ones with chocolate buttons or 4 for £10 on the larger ones (they are doing a girly pink one and a football one for the boys this year).

Perhaps not as much of a bargain as the £1 Asda ones or the BOGOF Tesco ones but in my experience they always go down really well because they are personalised...and they are not as expensive as you might think.

I bought some of these for my nieces and nephews. the small eggs at £1.99 are better value as you get more chocolate than the £2.99 ones. they are nice tho. a bit more personal.
    Nothing to declare ;)

You actually bought something without looking how much they were ??

Your one of the people the supermarkets like .... I could never afford to do that ( I know poor little me ...altogether awwwww)

I dont normally do this but I needed to buy Easter eggs and they had no other cheap ones, only expensive ones left. The ones they were stocking up the shelves with were obviously the ones that everyone was buying because people were grabbing them as they went on the shelf, so I guessed they would be the best value. I could have driven a few miles to the nearest Sainsburys or Tescos but there was no guarantee they would have more and I would have used up petrol which probably would have outweighed the saving.
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best
