Im probably posting this in entirely the wrong place but is there an Easter Egg Hunt this year? I need to buy 4, so its going to be a costly business unless I find a bargain. :easter_ba

The Asda £1 are still available
I found the exact same eggs in a local petrol station for £4.99 each, so they're definitely a bargain!0 -
The £2.99 eggs are 3 for £5 in the co-op and woolly's were selling them 3 for £3 but my local branches are all sold out.2013

I always buy thorntons eggs for the kids I buy for...with their name iced onto it for free...
This year they are £1.99 for the smaller ones with chocolate buttons or 4 for £10 on the larger ones (they are doing a girly pink one and a football one for the boys this year).
Perhaps not as much of a bargain as the £1 Asda ones or the BOGOF Tesco ones but in my experience they always go down really well because they are personalised...and they are not as expensive as you might think.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

As already mentioned Asda is your best bet ,all the large Cadburys varieties £1 each.

I went out yesterday to Asda before seeing the replies to this thread. The Easter eggs were almost sold out and then an assistant came along to stock up the shelves with some Rolo eggs so I quickly grabbed them. I bought other things and did not look at the receipt until later. When I did, I thought the shop had undercharged me or something because I paid £1 each for the eggs. So thanks everyone. I bought the right thing by accident. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
