reduced lines in Sainsburys

  • Head for the special foods section

Picked up some sun dried tomatoes in sunflower oil, packed in plastic (ambient) 75% off, 57p I think.

Also a couple of small jars of chillies in brine. £2.99 I think, but reduced to 10p.

Both offers are shelf label prices, not yellow stickers, so just be part of a range review.

I'm guessing we are going to be making a few home made pizzas in the near future!

Just came back from Sainsbury's where I bought two different Mammy Jamia's preserves(340g) - pear and apple. They were originally £2.39 but were priced at 60p each. I found them on the normal jam shelf and they were not yellow stickered.

part of the same line in my Sainsburys today they had the (packed in plastic trays) chargrilled asparagus spears at 74p and the roasted sliced peppers in oil at 57p. Longdated to mid 2013.

Also small jars of Mexican paste and Finely chopped green olives were both 10p each. According to the nearby SA they are changing the packaging on all these lines.

It's an own brand but I've just checked the site but its not listed on there anymore so I can't post a link I'm afraid. Found in the special section though. Sorry I can't help anymore.

    Redfox described it very well.
