Been trying the same tonight and met the same issues. I presume the fixed deal has now been withdrawn.

We're currently on the EDF fixed s@ver v2 E7 deal which expires on 30th Sept.

I suppose it would be best to stick with EDF until this deal expires now?

yes, stay on that for the moment. Even at standard rates youre getting a cheap deal in the short term. Just keep an eye out for the next batch of fixed tarriffs that crop up.

On Moneysupermarket.com, when choosing your existing tariff, the November 2013 and March 2014 fix both show up, but NOT January 2014, which is what I switched to for £42 Quidco cashback.

Got the Scottish Power welcome e-mail and letter, which states January 2014, so all is well.

I'm just wondering why it does not show up on the comparison site. It does mean that for future comparisons, I will have to remember to use November 2013. I think January 2014 was available from 1st to 12th September, without £70 cashback. Was it too heavily subscribed? More reason for it to be available as an existing tariff.

oh dear! I have just switched to this via TCB, to be honest I only read the last few reviews and the 99.2% satisfaction rate.

Looking back a bit further there are endless low scoring unhappy people that didn't get cashback.. how the heck then TCB can rate something at 99.2%!

Anyway, its £212 a year cheaper than what I was on and its fixed so still a win. Only loss is bill is spread evenly over the year, I prefer to pay what I use each month....

why oh why didn't I just click on the EDF fixed when it was still available!!! had been away on holiday and it was just ending when I got back so I didn't get around to it in time :(

EDIT: to be fair, the cashback has tracked OK already - as long as it pays out its more than any of the comparison sites pay for switching you.
