    Thanks for all advice people.

    Have one quote coming next week from a plumber who has done great work for us in the past. He highly recommends intergas boilers with 10yr warranties and google searching seems good for them too!

    Will get two more similar quotes and updat here with prices.
  • very interesting he has recommended that make, i have been fitting & servicing boilers for 30 years & i've never fitted one never serviced one & never removed one & gas4you has been on their training course & he's never seen one in a customers house either.

    Its only 10 years on the heat exchanger. Don't be fooled into thinking it's on the entire boiler.
  • Ha Ha SCRGI, giving them a fleece might work actually now you mention it! I daren't try pie's I don't want to give the custards an excuse to sue me for food poisoning! I'm being undercut left, right and centre atm so will try giving out free stuff to entice.
