Direct Payments

I cannot find any info on what exactly these payments can be given for from S Services. Could anyone make a list.
Also how difficult is it to manage wages, NI and tax for an employee

will you be the one claiming for additional support because I would think that it would be their responsibility to pay their own NI and tax as if they were self employed

Thanks Scarlett 1, I have followed the link and it is very informative, but there is no mention of what you can ask DP for apart from a few examples.

Hi there we get DP and we don't do anything just sign a worksheet once a month and send it off Ours is managed by SCILL a local charity which we found through our local carers centre not sure if you have access to any of these where you are??
Forgot to add we use it to pay a carer for respite care with our son.It's mostly used to do this(pay for a carer/helper) where I am HTH
