Until you post your accurate annual consumption, all is speculation, since it's clearly not 55 kWh per day if you are spending £300 per month on current consumption.
i already provided this info:
Im with EDF energy - on an online saver 7. Last statement averaged 63.13 kWh per day and that was on actual meter readings. That gave me a bill of £295.99. The account isnt in arrears, we do manage to pay the bill every month, just about!!0 -
You didn't , you said 55 kWh per day (not 63kWh), but you didn't say what period that was measured over. You cannot just measure over a summer month quarter and multiply by four or twelve, because (with all-electric heating) your winter consumption will be massively higher, probably by 3 or 400%.
A usage of 63kWh per day (1,957kWh pm) cannot possibly produce a bill of £295. It would be around £200. Please post the figures, and state if estimates or actuals.
Until you work out or obtain your annual consumption you will not resolve this.No free lunch, and no free laptop
