Vista Java / Flash.

Is anybody else apart from me having problems with flash on Vista?
I've got Vista Business edition installed with Flash 9 and Java 6 but when i try viewing a video on Youtube or (for example) Instant win games on national-lottery.co.uk i'm constantly being told i don't have Flash or the correct version of Flash installed whereas Youtube tells me i don't have Flash or Javascript enabled.
If i go to think Broadband to do a speedtest it kick Java in so i know that's definately working and i can play flash games on Arcades on forums and can also watch Youtube videos if they've been embedded in a forum post or through a different site.

any ideas?

    Click on link below.

Save the Flash file on computer.

    Close Web browser down.

    Run and Install file.

Reopen Web browser and it should work, let me know.

Are you guys using 64bit Vista? I couldnt get Flash to work on it - I don't think Adobe have released a 64bit Vista version of Flash player yet. Since going back to 32bit no problems with Flash or Java.

If you're using 64 bit Vista there is a way to run internet explorer in 32bit to help with viewing flash, this article explains hope that might help.

OK, then all I can think of is that Flash didn't install correctly. I had a similar problem last year in XP and no matter how many times I reinstalled Flash player I couldn't get it to work...until

I used the Flash uninstaller and then reinstalled. Might be worth a try.

    Instructions here

    Flash uninstaller here
