Removing eye make up

I use aqueous cream and warm water. Just rub it in and wipe off with a microfibre cloth.0

Depends on my lazyness at night.
if super lazy I use face wipes but they rarely take it all off and I have angry panda eyes in the morning.
if moderate lazy - Body Shop Camomile eye make up remover (the liquid one). Its not oily and takes off even waterproof mascara without rubbing or making my sensitive eyes/skin sore.
if i want to do it properly - oil cleansing method. takes it all off & makes my skin so lovely & soft afterwards. I really should do this every night as my skin loves it, but I just can't be bothered!"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -
If there's a bit of 'panda eyes', just dip a cottonbud in moisturiser and gently swirl that under the eyes - or do it after applying eye cream if you use that.
That'll get rid of everything. I tend to do it anyway... even when you think they're clean, there'll always be a bit of black still lurking.

My friend has had a lot of trouble with her eyes and had to go to an eye clinic several times. They told her there that the best thing to get make up off the eye area was with baby shampoo, it has anyi bacterial qualities as well and stops infections around the eye area. Since using that, she has had no more problems.0

I am a big fan of oil cleansing. I mix about 25% castor oil with 75% sunfloweroil (cooking oil). Massage that all over you face for a minute or two then make your hands wet with warm water and continue the massage – the oil will now turn white. Then take off with a flannel dipped in hot water.
Castor oil is hard to get now because most use it as a laxative but ebay has it.0 -
            I use Mac Cleanse off Oil followed by my regular cleanser. If i'm wearing really stubbon mascara, just have a quick wipe over my eyes with the boots botanics or No 7 eye makeup removers and it's all gone.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

I was just coming on here to ask this! I am using simple at the moment but it is pretty pants, my eyes are so sore from all the rubbing. I suppose it would be easier if I didn't wear waterproof mascara but I don't trust normal mascara if I get caught in the rain!
Don't rub
You'll end up with eyes 20 years older than you are, soak the cotton wool pad (the flat ones not the balls) in the eye make up remover (I use benefit as it doesn't sting like some do) and then place it on your eye for a few seconds, wipe it off each eye and then use the clean side to wipe again making sure you clean your eyes until the pad is clean."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
I use L'Oreal Absolute Eye Make Up Remover. It's a two part liquid which you shake to mix each time you use it. It cleans off even waterproof mascara and doesn't leave that oily film over my eyes (which is no good for contact lens wearers).
It's just under £4 a bottle in Boots, lasts a couple of months.
For other make up I use a cream cleanser that you wash off with a muslin cloth (e.g. Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish, or Boots No 7 have one).0 -
I use aqueous cream and either cotton wool or a facecloth. I used to get eczema off a lot of the proper eye make up removers and the pharmacist in boots recommended the aqueous. Cheaps as chips and lasts forever!0

I usually just use a baby wipe to take off mascara (I wear quite a lot every day).
If I have water proof mascara on, I'll use Boots Essentials Eye Make Up Remover with some cotton wool pads (the one in the blue bottle, although I do like the cucumber ones too).0
