Hi I bought house but while the process was going on for contract exchange I asked my solicitor that there is some rubbish left in shed and around it so they said talk to the agent I talked to agent and they said let the contract complete we will ask them to move it later so all done now so I called the agent and ask them to ask the seller to move the rubbish and they said to me they can not force them to do that but they will have word with them so they did have word with the seller and I was told that they said that they will remove it but their van is broken down and they don’t know when their van will get fixed which is crap I think. and I said to them I am not moving into that rubbish in the garden shed so I called the solicitor who done the contract they said it is not written in the contract so they will talk to them and want guarantee that they will pick it up .Which make so angry because I kept telling them from the beginning about the stuff I needed to be done and they kept saying me that will be done after contracts are exchanged main thing is making me worried is the water was shut and don’t know if there is any leakage because I ask them to open the water but they did not do that also.so any help or any tips that will help me thanks

Your vendor will have signed a standard form agreeing that all rubbish and personal belongings will be removed from the property upon completion. Call your solicitor as they can enforce this for you and either request that tehy pick it up or recompense you for having to get rid of it.
I'm afraid your grammar means I don't understand what the problem is with the water, could you try explaining it again please? Do you have no water at all? Can you find the stopcock? If you fear a leak, then I'd get a couple of people in the house that can shout to turn the stopcock off if any water starts leaking out.
Otherwise, contact your water board, see if they know what the problem is!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Sorry I did not write clearly about water problem with the water is that it is shut and I been saying to my solicitors to ask seller to open the main water so we know if there is any leak in the house because I can see leakage spot on ceiling and I asked the agent about it and been told it is fixed. The water is shut from the supplier and I called supplier they will come and open it in 2 days time but I am worried now if the leakage is still there and not been fixed ThanksDoozergirl wrote: »Your vendor will have signed a standard form agreeing that all rubbish and personal belongings will be removed from the property upon completion. Your supplier will know why it is shut off. If there was a leak, then shutting it off at the stopcock would suffice.
Is it possible they didn't pay their bills?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Water doesnt get cut off for failure to pay water rates or a metered bill, unlike Gas/Electricity."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
