Help please - Paypal problem again...

Hi all, after Paypals so called 'Glitch' I was advised to go through the verification process again...

I sent a payment to a seller after I had set up the bank funding 'again' on 24th March and the payment didn't come out of my bank account until 4 days later on the 28th March.... and on my online bank statement it says 'Paypal Direct Debit'...

Is this right, should this be how it works? Going from instant payments to 4 days to clear doesn't make sense to me.

Also my paypal account doesn't actually show the transaction, although I have an email receipt from them for the payment...

To make matters worse I still haven't received the item from the seller despite having paid for it, and the seller is not responding to my messages Smilies through ebay... Although the seller acknowledged there was a problem in the first place when it happened and was understanding about it as he was aware of it. The seller is a reputable business and I have used them before so I don't see why they would ignore me...

Grrr I swear I am going to give paypal and Ebay up... It's gone right down the pan!

Anyone have any answers/advice or otherwise on anything above please??

dont you have a debit card you can add to make payments with...

Yes my debit card is my primary account, linked to my bank account that the money comes from... that is how it has always worked and been instant.

Could they have changed it? Im off to check my account...
